During the installation of ‘S7 Excel Connect’ the ribbon is added to your Microsoft Excel. The ribbon gives access to the task panes, settings panel and many more.

The ‘Read’ tab gives access to the main read taskpanes with associated functions. The ‘Read Legacy’ tab gives access to the obsolete features.

The ‘Write’ tab gives access to the main write taskpanes with associated write functions.

The ‘Update’ tab provides an ‘Refresh Once’ button. The ‘Refresh Once’ button forces Excel to recalculate the open workbooks.

The ‘Logging’ tab provides access to the ‘Start’ and ‘Stop’ button of the logging function.

The ‘Resources’ tab provides access to the online ‘Help’ pages and other resources.
